“Besides the appointments and meds, having my annual checkups and tests recorded is so helpful, no more guessing!

I think your health journal is a great concept. I was telling my sister about it and she said to buy her one.

It was great to get together with you this morning. I have come back to the office and have lined up a number of staff that think your book is a great idea and can hardly wait to purchase it

Monday morning I got a call from my mother-in-law. I could tell instantly by her voice that she wasn’t doing well. We got to the heart of the problem quickly. Her knee was swollen and she was in a great deal of pain. Unable to walk except with the help of my father-in-law she was having trouble getting around. Could I take her to the dr.’s?
Being self-employed and working from home gave me the opportunity and flexibility to take her to a walk-in clinic that specializes in muscles and bones. After waiting quite a while, we saw the doctor. He was worth the wait! He examined her knee, and quickly ordered an x-ray. After reviewing the results - he ordered an MRI. He suspects a torn miniscus - ouch!
His recommendations? Ice the knee 3x a day and see me in 7-10 days. The MRI will be ordered and should be done in the next 4-6 weeks.
We recorded the symptoms, recommendations, tests and follow-up appointment in her healthcare journal. It works! It was so great to see all her appointments and info listed in her book. All she has to do is check back in the book to remind her of all the details.
